2. Website provision and server logs
When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data. This may include, in particular, IP address, time of access, requested address, volume of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system details, and HTTP status.
Processing serves to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors, and to detect and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure operation of the website.
The recipient of this technical data is the hosting provider used to operate the website, insofar as this is necessary to provide and secure the website. Log data is stored only for as long as necessary for operation, security and the prevention of misuse.
3. Cookies, local storage and external content
In its current version, this website uses no cookies and stores no settings in your browser's local storage. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Fonts, stylesheets, scripts and the brand emblem are served locally from the same website. No external web fonts, videos, social media pixels or third-party iframes are loaded.
4. Contact and access enquiries
Funeral businesses can use the enquiry form to request a personal demonstration and possible trial access. We process the business name, contact person, town or city, business email address, telephone number where provided, optional team size and message, and preferred contact method.
The information is used exclusively to review the enquiry, make contact and prepare for a possible personal setup of Funerivo. Submitting the form creates neither a user account nor a funeral business in the application.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise, it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The information is deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate claims prevent this.
To protect against automated repeated enquiries, the form uses an invisible bot-check field, a minimum completion time and a five-minute sending block per IP address. For this block, a SHA-256 hash of the IP address is generated as a filename and used with a timestamp in the server's temporary system directory.
Please do not send health data, funeral case data or documents relating to data subjects through the form or to the general contact address.
5. External links and Funerivo portal
Links to the protected portal at go.funerivo.com are only opened when you click them. Separate portal notices apply to sign-in and data processing there.
When you open other external links, you leave this website. The respective operator is responsible for processing on the destination website.
6. Your data protection rights
Under the GDPR, you have in particular the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement may be competent.
Encryption
The website is transmitted using TLS encryption.
